Tom Crow, Founder & Chairman/COBRA Golf

Tom L. Crow is a founder of Cobra Golf Incorporated and its original president. Mr. Crow is an Australian who, prior to immigrating to America in 1973, was a director of Precision Golf Forging, a major golf manufacturer. He was also an active amateur player, representing his country in International amateur events such as The Eisenhower Cup and The St. Andrews Matches. He is a former Australian amateur champion.

Tom has been involved in golf club design for over 30 years. As Cobra Golf designer, he developed the "Baffler" in 1975. The Baffler, a utility wood, has set the standard in the golf industry since its introduction. Variations of the Baffler have been made and sold by virtually all major golf companies.

Tom's design experience and ingenuity is shown by his many innovations in the golf equipment market: the three-wedge system, the first extra-length driver dubbed the "Long Tom," and the re-introduction of graphite shafts for lighter weight clubs into the domestic market in 1985. The King Cobra line of oversized woods and irons are further examples of his design expertise.

He is considered one of the premier golf equipment designers in the world. He is engaged with Helixx to launch a worldwide film production on the life of the legendary golfer, Bobby Jones, to publish a book on his life in the sport entitled "The King of Clubs", and to pursue other ventures that are part of his personal lifework strategy.
